It's 3AM, but still, I can't sleep. I want to check the CCTV right now at this very moment. But I can't do that because that pendrive-like looking device, known as the Data Retriever 502, is with Pepper and out of my reach at the moment. I wish I had been smart and bought that device back then. That way, I wouldn't have to lie awake, waiting for sleep to take me in its embrace.
"Oh shoot! I guess I'll just try calling Pepper right now. But... is it even appropriate to contact her at 3AM?" I said to myself in my head as I was laying in bed, trying to get some sleep.
"Whatever, I'll attempt it anyway just for my peace of mind. I'll wait for the 3rd ring and then hang up."
