After my conversation with Pepper, a newfound hope and courage surged within me. I chose to ignore that mean-spirited Beatrice's sidekick and hastily made my way toward the exit to follow Kol and Beatrice. As I descended the first set of stairs, I lost their tracks and the uncertainty began to gnaw at me. But this hope, the strong unwavering hope Pepper had instilled in me, persisted. It was as stubborn as Pepper herself, and I knew it wouldn't fade so easily. Descending the second set of stairs, I caught a faint but unmistakable female voice in the distance. The vibes it emitted were annoyingly familiar. "...I'll clean this up. Don't worry; it'll be as good as new." I could hear two people talking and as I drew nearer, Kol's voice grew clearer. "It's okay, Beatrice." He replied to her.
