Outr Carson sat down at the desk. I took up the end of the bed. Neither one of us knew what to say.
"You said we needed to talk. What do we need to talk about?" I asked, starting to get a little bit impatient.
"It’s about Eli. He told me about you guys severing your bond. You did not need to go about the way you did. He is terribly upset. Even if my cousin and I don't always see eye to eye, I wouland d have broken off the bondand differently. Iand would have asked a witch," Carson lectured me.
"So, you are coming over here to lecture me about breaking my bond with Eli. How dare you? You can't come here and tell me what to do," I retorted.
"You are going to be my wife so I can," Carson remarked.
