“Oh, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me, Auden,” I muttered under my breath, quickly returning my lips to where they belonged… On Alpha Auden's lips.
We made out passionately as I sat on his lap right in his office even though the door wasn't locked and anyone could have just chosen to walk in without knocking.
Somehow, it made it even better and hotter. It thrilled me to know that we could be found by someone and it might even be Maya, the stand-in Luna Queen of the Pack.
But as soon as I began to unbutton his shirt, praying in my heart that he wouldn't stop me like he had three times prior, a knock sounded on the door and I sighed in frustration.
Reluctantly, I stood from his lap and took a seat on the other side of the table before gazing at the door.
