As Elis's vision faded to black, he felt himself being lifted off the ground. He tried to struggle, but his body felt heavy and unresponsive.
When he came to, he was in a dimly lit room. He was lying on a bed, and his head was throbbing with pain.
Sophia was sitting next to him, her eyes fixed on him with concern. "Elis, wake up," she said.
Elis tried to sit up, but a wave of pain washed over him. "What...what happened?" he stammered.
Sophia's face was etched with worry. "We were ambushed," she said. "Those men, they were waiting for us. I don't know who they were or what they wanted, but they took us down."
Elis's mind was foggy, but he remembered the men in black tactical gear. "The organization," he muttered.
Sophia's eyes narrowed. "I think you're right," she said. "They must have found out about our plan. But we can't worry about that now. We need to get out of here."
Elis looked around the room, taking in their surroundings. They were in some kind of warehouse or factory. There were crates and boxes stacked up around them, and a single door led out of the room.
"Where are we?" Elis asked.
Sophia shook her head. "I don't know," she said. "But I think we're in a lot of trouble."
As they talked, Elis heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the room. Sophia's eyes flicked towards the door, and she stood up.
"Get ready," she whispered.
The door creaked open, and a figure entered the room. It was one of the men from the ambush, and he was holding a g*n.
"Well, well, well," he said, a sneer spreading across his face. "Look what we have here. The famous Elis and Sophia, all alone and helpless."
Elis stood up, his heart racing with anger. "You're with the organization," he growled.
The man chuckled. "I'm with whoever pays me," he said. "And right now, that means I'm going to enjoy watching you two suffer."
As the man raised his g*n, Elis knew they had to act fast. He lunged at the man, but he was too slow. The man hit him with the butt of his g*n, and Elis fell to the ground.
Sophia screamed as the man turned his attention to her. But Elis was not going to let him hurt her. He struggled to his feet, determined to protect her.
In a blur of movement, Elis tackled the man to the ground. The two of them rolled around, punching and kicking.
Sophia took advantage of the distraction to grab a nearby crate and smash it over the man's head. The man crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
Elis stood up, panting. "We have to get out of here," he said.
Sophia nodded, and they made a run for the door. They emerged into the night air, gasping for breath.
But as they looked around, they realized that they were not alone. A group of men, armed to the teeth, were waiting for them.
Elis's heart sank. They were surrounded.
And then, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was Alex, the woman who had helped them earlier.
"Get behind me," she said, her eyes fixed on the men.
Elis and Sophia didn't hesitate. They moved behind Alex, ready to face whatever was coming their way.
As the men approached, Elis saw that they were wearing black tactical gear and masks. They looked like professionals.
"You're not going anywhere," one of them growled.
Alex smiled, a fierce glint in her eye. "Oh, I think we are," she said.
And with that, the battle began.
Elis, Sophia, and Alex fought side by side, taking down the men one by one. Elis's training kicked in, and he found himself moving with a precision he never knew he had.
But despite their best efforts, they were outnumbered. Elis was starting to get worried.
And then, just when they thought all was lost, a group of figures emerged from the shadows. They were dressed in black, and they moved with a deadly precision.
The two groups clashed, and Elis found himself in the midst of a fierce battle. He fought with all his might, but it was hard to keep track of who was friend or foe.
Just when he thought he was going to be overwhelmed, he heard a voice behind him.
"Elis, over here!"
He turned to see Elena, her eyes fixed on him with concern. She was holding a g*n, and she looked like she knew how to use it.
"Elena, what are you doing here?" Elis exclaimed.
Elena smiled, a fierce glint in her eye. "I'm here to help," she said.
Together, the three of them fought their way through the men. Elis was starting to feel a sense of hope.
But just as they thought they were winning, Elis saw a figure emerge from the shadows. He was tall, and his eyes seemed to bore into Elis's soul.
"You're not going to win," he said, his voice cold and menacing.
Elis stood tall, his heart pounding in his chest. "We'll see about that," he said.
And with that, the figure charged.
