Chapter 10: The Aftermath

As they walked away from the battlefield, Elis couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. He looked around, but saw nothing.

"What's wrong?" Sophia asked, noticing his unease.

"I don't know," Elis replied. "I just feel like we're being watched."

Elena nodded. "I've been feeling it too," she said. "I think we should get out of here, find a safe place to hide."

Elis nodded in agreement. "Let's go to my place," he said. "We can regroup and figure out our next move."

They made their way to Elis's apartment, a small but cozy place in a quiet neighborhood. As they entered, Elis couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. They were finally safe.

But as they sat down to catch their breath, Elis's phone rang. He hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Hello?" he said.

"Elis, it's Rachel," a voice said on the other end of the line. "I heard about what happened. Are you okay?"

Elis sighed. "We're fine," he said. "But we need to talk."

Rachel agreed, and they arranged to meet up at a nearby café.

As they sat down at a table, Rachel looked at them with concern. "What happened?" she asked.

Elis filled her in on the events of the past few hours. Rachel listened intently, her expression growing more serious with each passing moment.

"I knew Victor was trouble," she said when Elis finished. "But I had no idea he was involved with the organization."

Elena leaned forward. "What do you know about the organization?" she asked.

Rachel hesitated, looking around the café nervously. "I don't know if I should be telling you this," she said. "But I think it's time you knew the truth. The organization is a shadowy group that has been secretly controlling the city for years. They're involved in all sorts of illicit activities, from human trafficking to money laundering."

Elis's eyes widened. "That's what we've been trying to uncover," he said.

Rachel nodded. "I know. And I think I can help you take them down."

As Rachel began to explain her plan, Elis listened intently. He was determined to take down the organization, no matter what it took.

But as they sat there, planning their next move, Elis couldn't shake off the feeling that they were in over their heads. The organization was powerful, and they would not go down without a fight.

Just then, Elis's phone rang again. He hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Hello?" he said.

There was a pause on the other end of the line. Then, a voice spoke up.

"Elis, you're getting close to the truth. But you'll never take down the organization. They're too powerful."

Elis's heart skipped a beat. "Who is this?" he demanded.

The voice laughed. "You'll find out soon enough. But for now, let's just say that you're in grave danger."

The line went dead.

Elis looked at Sophia and Elena, his eyes wide with fear.

"It's them," he said. "They know we're onto them."

Rachel's eyes narrowed. "We need to get out of here, now," she said.

As they quickly left the café, Elis couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead. They were in grave danger, and they had to be careful if they wanted to survive.

But Elis was determined to take down the organization, no matter what it took. He was ready for whatever came next.

As they walked away from the café, Elis noticed a black SUV following them. He quickened his pace, his heart racing with anticipation.

"What's wrong?" Sophia asked, noticing his unease.

Elis nodded towards the SUV. "We're being followed," he said.

Elena turned around, her eyes scanning the surrounding area. "We need to lose them," she said.

Elis nodded, and they quickly came up with a plan. They ducked into a nearby alleyway, and Elis used his knowledge of the area to evade their pursuers.

As they finally lost the SUV, Elis let out a sigh of relief. They had narrowly escaped.

But as they caught their breath, Elis knew that this was far from over. They had to be more careful, and they had to be prepared for whatever came next.

"Let's get to a safe house," Rachel said. "We can regroup and come up with a new plan."

Elis nodded, his eyes scanning the surrounding area. They had to be careful, but they couldn't give up now.

As they made their way to the safe house, Elis couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead. They were in this together, and they would see it through to the end.
