What am I doing? My brain seemed to go blank as soon as I registered the tender warmth against my lips, the gentle breaths brushing my skin, the fluttering in my chest. It was like we both froze in time for a moment, quite literally, because neither of us moved for a few seconds, the air around us as still as it was electrifying.
