It has been a week since I went to search for her at the rodeo. Every night when Brian goes to sleep, I take over. Making sure that nobody in the pack saw me leave. The second night, I saw her at the bar where she worked. I cannot tell you the relief I felt seeing her safe, after knowing a vampire took her. She seemed unharmed. Standing in the darkness, I watched her leaving, following behind her, making sure that she did not see me till she got to her apartment. It was after 1 am, and she looked so tired.
