Dan opened his groggy lids to reveal hazel eyes.
He saw a figure hovering over him.

Rebecca swallowed as she saw his beautiful eyes. Her heart was racing madly in her chest.

She'd arrived a while ago and had been pleasantly surprised to see the food already prepared.
She'd asked Frederick if their cook had made it, but he'd replied in the negative.
'So...Dan cooked...for me?'
He sat up groaning.
"You're back, " Dan made out, running his hand tiredly through his chestnut hair.
Rebecca bit her lip at the action and her heart raced even more at the sight.
'She is going crazy.'
'This feeling...she needs it to stop.'
