Chapter 1:

"Juniper!" Called her mother in a angry tone, as always. The Queen. "get you're bottom in here!"

"Yes, ma'am." Juniper said calmly. Even when she wanted to open that door and yell back at her.

"And get ready. Don't be late."

Juniper waited until the Queen made her way down the hall.

Juniper is a beautiful young girl with red hair and blue/green eyes. Her mother, "the Queen", on the other hand, has blond hair and blue eyes. Her father, " the King ", has red hair with green eyes.

Juniper has always dislike her parents. Later, you will see why.

She got up and make her way in the bathroom to wash up, and get ready for the royal banquet. She always loved banquets. Especially, the chaos. During the toasts, her childish friend always finds a way to disrupt the King's toasts - like, tug on the table cloth, " accidentally " spilling wine and blaming it on another person, throw a rock on the other side of the room, and make animal sounds to concern the party. "very ladylike."

Anyways, she went to the bathroom to bathe and wash up, and do her makeup and hair. She heard the maids, Serenity and Arial, getting her dress ironed, and cleaning up a bit in her room.

After bathing and getting herself ready, she opened the door to reveal the maiden's doing their chores they are required to do. Serenity ironing Juniper's dress, and Arial tidying her side-table.

"Oh, your Highness!" Arial noticed Juniper, "we are just tidying up your room a bit."

"No problem. I appreciate it."

Juniper glanced at the dress Serenity was fixing up for her. It was a forest green with light tea green with it, with flowers all over. It was gorgeous. These maidens knew her taste in dresses.

Serenity ironed the last section of her dress, and sewed one of the flowers on the dress, and did a chef kiss, "voila!" She said as turned to Juniper in proud excitement. "What do you think?" Juniper grinned, as she looks at the dress, "it's absolutely gorgeous!" She said in excitement.

Then, Arial chimed in. Juniper didn't notice she was at her wardrobe, holding up a black corset. She been quite as a mouse. "Oh, this would be perfect to go with that dress, don't you think?"

"Absolutely, if y'all think it will give it some spice."

The both maidens grinned and helping her in the dress. Pulled it up to her shoulders and zipping it up. Next: they helped her in the corset and start to tie it snugged in a neat bow.

"there. But I think it needs a finishing touch now."

"what else could we possibly but on this woman, Arial?"

"Some jewels! Everyone needs some kind of jewelry on their person."

"Oh, right!" Exclaimed Serenity, as she was walking towards the wardrobe, and looked in the jewelry box. She looked in there and kept glancing at Juniper, seeing which one would look best on her.

Juniper always loved that these maids have such personalities. She doesn't have a lot of friends, other than her childish friend, Flora. Juniper absolutely hate herself when she considers her friend childish. In her mind; "calling someone childish makes you a fool. It makes you so full of yourself. " she thinks, every time she thinks someone is childish.

But, maybe she's right about it, maybe she's not.

Finally, Serenity found an elegant green stone ring, and a bracelet that is metal, and a dragonfly choker necklace, and pearl earrings. "do you think this would look good with you're dress, your Highness?"

Juniper looked at the jewelry and smiled, "I think so."

The maid smiled back and puts it on her. After, she turned Juniper around to face the mirror and stepped back. "You look gorgeous, your Highness, if you ask me."

Juniper looked at herself in the mirror, stunned. These maidens know how to style. She looked rather like a Queen than a princess. Speaking of Queens, she needed to get her tiara on. Her parents wouldn't be so happy if she doesn't have her tiara on.

The maid already had. reached for the tiara and got it in her hands, like she could read the princesses mind. "you forgot something." Said serenity, as she puts it on Juniper's head. "There."

"you look marvelous, your Highness." Said Arial, leaning on the wall, next to her bed.

"I agree." Said serenity. "You look like a real princess now."

Juniper smiled at them both. "thank you, lady's." She gave them both a curtsy.

The both maidens curtsy back. "No problem." Said Serenity. "If you need anything else, just holler." Said Arial.

They both curtsy, once again, and exited the room, leaving Juniper alone.

Juniper looked at herself in the mirror, stunned. She was a pretty girl, but looking at her reflection, she decided she was gorgeous.

These were the best maids she ever had.

She watched her dress flowed in the air, as she spin a couple times. Then, A couple moments later, A knock by one of the other maidens. Juniper froze, and said, "yes?"

"your Highness? the banquet is starting in a couple of minutes. The King and Queen expects you to be down stairs, right now. They are getting upset with you."

Juniper stopped looking at herself, and brought herself back to reality. Her shoulders droop forward, not wanting to know what will happen if she wasn't down stairs on time, and what her parents would do to her.

"Tell them, that I am heading down there now."

"Yes, your Highness." And with that, the maid disappeared down the hall.

When she couldn't hear the footsteps of the maid, she put her black slippers on and scurried down to the banquet.
