In the dead of night, I jolt awake, rushing to the bathroom as waves of nausea overwhelm me. I'm vomiting uncontrollably when Ace bursts in, concern etched on his face. "Victoria, are you okay?" he asks, his voice laced with worry. "Yes, I'm just feeling unwell," I manage to reply between heaves. He hurries downstairs to fetch me some water, and I find comfort lying on the cool bathroom floor, Ace by my side. "How long have you been like this?" he inquires gently. "Since yesterday, after the droid incident, but I think it's just from being outside in the heat," I explained weakly. "You need to rest," he insists, he picks me up and takes me to bed. With his arms wrapped around me as I drift back to sleep.
