Chapter 4 (Lianna’s pov) I panicked with my heart shaking. “Not so fast, darling, uh uh!” The witch repeated again. “I will give you a bracelet. You will wear it on your wrist or ankles. This bracelet will help you to completely disappear from your husband's house after seventy two hours.” Lianna was confused. I did not understand a thing. The witch was seen speaking into the bracelet then she made some incantations and lifted up her hands and some kind of green light came from the bracelet After two minutes of intense spell casting, the bracelet was handed over to me. “This bracelet will protect you from being monitored by superiors. It will also help you to get your virginity back after the Lycan King is done with you.” She laughed after making that one statement then she looked at a sad me. “I can’t get into all the details now because your parents are worried sick and can arrange for people to destroy my house looking for you. So…. the bracelet will glow when it’s time, speak to it!” I got the bracelet happily. “What’s the price I have to pay?” I asked because something had to go for something. She cackled. “I cannot tell you. Your wedding is tomorrow and I don’t want to spoil your mood. She smiled to the side and walked towards her bed. I thought about how terrible what she would ask would be but I brushed it off for Ethan. I turned to go home through the door but she stopped me. “Wait!” I was afraid. What had I gotten myself into? I turned with uncertainty in my heart. “You don’t need to use the door, you know.. you’re running out of time,” she said. “What?!” I countered. “Close your eyes,” the witch commanded. I closed my eyes and she zapped me back into my room. In the flipping of a book, I was back home. As I sat on my bed, the door knocked again and it was my mother. I quickly wore my bracelet and sat on the bed, holding my tummy and pretending I had a tummy ache. She bagged into my room as I had expected after knocking and not receiving a reply. “Lianna, where have you been? You almost made me sick!” I clutched my belly continuously. “I think I’ll call the beauty team inside here. You’re supposed to prep your hair, nails and skin and get ready for the wedding tomorrow,” my mother kept talking. She later called in the beauty team and they beautified and prepared me. I was quiet and moody all along. I kept thinking of what I had gotten myself into. ***** ********** ***** The wedding day had come and I had worn my dress and stood at the room mirror, staring at myself and my bracelet. The witch said seventy two hours after my wedding, I would be up there. For the first trial of seventy two hours which is basically three days. I had to be patient. I clutched the bracelet and walked to the front porch. I looked beautiful. My wedding gown was immaculate white with designs of the moon. It was extremely long and my best friend held it behind me so that it didn’t get dirty. My hair was curled and tied into a messy bun and the makeup was light. My best friend was my bridesmaid. She knew about my love for humans but I never told her anything about Ethan nor the witch. My mother came from nowhere and began to yell. “Lianna, the procession has begun and the groom is waiting for you.” My father told me I looked very beautiful. I thanked him with tears in my eyes and he held my hands, kissed it and led me in front of the car. He sat in front and my bridesmaid sat behind. We reached the great scepter hall and my father led the procession. It was evening and soon, the moon would be out. My lycan king stood at the altar with the priest by his side. He looked kind of neat today but he was still ugly. My father stopped when we reached the altar and went back to his seat. He saw that I did not have a smile on and motioned for me to wear one. The lycan king looked at me seductively and the priest began to speak. “We are gathered here for a good purpose. One of our flowers from the Moon Twilight Pack is going to be joined in a blessed matrimony with the king of Moon Gold Pack,” the priest said with a serious face. “Anybody that is not in favor of this union should lift their hands.” The priest looked around. I looked around too, my eyes rummaging the crowd to see if someone would stop this marriage so I would just go back to my room. No one did. The priest nodded and continued. “With the power vested in me under the moon and in the power of the moon goddess, I pronounce you husband and wife.” The whole crowd cheered. The priest went ahead to put our hands in a white basin that was on the altar in front of us. The glow of the moon shone on the water signifying that the moon goddess had accepted the union. My sisters looked so beautiful and happy. My parents were radiant, the lycan king was excited. It was only me that wore a gloomy look. “You May now kiss the bride.” The lycan king kissed me viciously. After the events, I found myself in his carriage, ready to go. My friends and family wished me goodbye and I did not even get to hug my mother and my sisters for the last time. It seemed my new husband was in a hurry to take me home. “Ride!” The lycan king ordered from inside the carriage and the horses whinnied and the carriage began to move. “Bye baby! We will come visit you,” my mother yelled from outside. “Bye Lianna!” My sisters yelled in unison and their voices faded as we left the pack. ********* We finally reached the palace and the Lycan king helped me down from the carriage. The first person I saw was my mothers youngest sister, jeez! Why didn’t anyone tell me? So she was one of his concubines? I greeted her but he refused to let me have a conversation with her. He led me into a big mansion and to a quarters which I guessed was mine. I saw my pictures everywhere and it was decorated with fresh lavender and chamomile. The whole setting looked like royalty and he had peach canopy beds. Who told him I loved peach? I wondered what happened to my room and Ethan’s picture back at home. I guess my mom hid them for me. Then….the moment I dreaded had come. The lycan king walked up to me and held me. “Undress!” He ordered. My throat suddenly held a big lump in it and my eyes started to water.
