Chapter 4

~Oliver~

Marcus had been gone for about ten minutes so myself, Tyra and Clarrisa start talking whilst waiting for him "Oliver" Tyra begins "I get why like us you want to know how AJ is but why the other girl? She's a criminal serving time" Tyra finishes, usually I'd get defensive but I know it's Tyra's fear talking "Talia, her name is Talia Jenson, she's Azura's identical twin sister, she was allowed to come to the festival on account of good behaviour. She is very, VERY dear to AJ" I explain, Marcus then returns.

Marcus sits down next to me and I ask "how is she?" Marcus looks at me "Talia?" I nod "she's stable for now, they lost her on the table but brought her back so she's been put into a coma to try and help her recover, all bullets have been removed thankfully but the next 48 hours are touch and go" I rub my eyes and sigh "hope she's ok for AJ's sake, they are closer than anybody I've ever met can be, even Michael and Lucas. I'd really hate for anything to happen to Talia, Azura just wouldn't cope" Marcus replies "same, I mean I would find it hard if anything happened to Talia so I can't imagine on just how hard it'd be for Azura. Since she reunited with Talia and has been seeing her, AJ has let her walls down and is having a better life now, what Talia has done for AJ is unreal. Talia has even gotten more behaved as well, and it's amazing to hear then both laugh again. Talia and AJ are inseparable, both have been my friends for years. Yes Talia may be a prisoner...but she's a good kid inside, her heart is in the right place" "she took the bullets for AJ, I just hope she's ok for AJ's sake" "me too man...me too" Marcus replies. 

After about 5 more minutes my phone buzzes "text" Marcus says "I know" I reply as I read the text "everything ok?" Marcus asks "yeah. It's Lucas, he said him and Michael need to talk to you" "tell them to go the station, I'm waiting until I get an update on AJ. So just tell them to go the police station and wait for me there" "ok" I shrug as I reply to the text.

After Oliver had put his phone back in his pocket Angela walks over to us, I stand up "Angela" I begin while brushing myself down "how's our AJ? Is she...." my breath got stuck in my throat as I tried to ask if AJ was still with us....but I just couldn't bring myself to finish my question....thankfully I didn't have to as Angela knew what it was going to be and replied "she's alive" so much relief overcame me and a tear escaped but I quickly composed myself as Angela carried on "however she did lose A LOT of blood" I was expecting that after the scene I had witnessed...I thought she was dead...I'm so glad she isn't "she got a lot of glass stuck in her but it has all been removed and she is out cold, but she is alive....just about but she is, she is a true fighter as we nearly lost her but we never, she is alive. Right now she is receiving blood and chemo" Tyra then says "at least these have the right blood" "as you know we usually do and the nurses who let the stock go low are no longer working at Shadow View, this is actually the hospital that provided us with the blood when we ran out" Angela begins again, then goes on to say "when she is stable enough to be moved, she will be transferred back to Shadow View to resume the full course of treatment"  "thank you Angela" I say with a smile "no problem. Right...I'm going back to her now, I suggest you all go home and get some rest" "but..." Oliver tries to protest but is quickly cut off by Angela "no buts, go. What good will you be if you're all tired?" Oliver sighs then gives a nod to show acknowledgement then him, Tyra and Clarrisa all leave while I stay where I am "I meant you too Marcus" "but Aunty Ang....." "no Marcus, you will go home, tell your deputy that 23 hours is enough and get some rest" "how do you..." "your mom told me" "ok but can I at least see her before I go? Just so I can update the deputy and my colleagues" Angela sighs "fine...come on, but after you have and you've updated them you will do as I say" Angela tells me to which I. nod, I respect her, she's like a 2nd mom, even though she's not my aunty I still call her aunty because she's been my mom's best friend forever so we go to the ICU room that Azura is in.

I can hear Tobias yell "NO! AJ!" I rush in to see what was wrong and he is in full on panicking and freaking out "Tobias what's going on?" "AJ, that dude and chick....they....what if..." I can see that he is going pale as he struggles for his breath "ok, first I need you to calm down" I begin, the thing with Tobias is he doesn't get violent like Azura so usually I don't have to sedate him, but his lungs are very weak so when he's like this I try to calm him down and if I can't I just give him medicine in his cannular to help him calm down. I know right now I have to do something otherwise his lungs will give before a donor comes up so I get the medicine and sit down next to him then put it in his cannular which calmed him enough to talk to him, I then carry on to say "I will call Doctor Knightengale to see how Azura is and find out what's going on" "but what if..." I hold both his hands and look at him "Tobias....Tobias hun, look at me" as Tobias looks at me you can see tears building up in his eyes as he tries to hold them back "I promise...as soon as I leave this room I will find out how Azura is, but I really need you to calm down first" Tobias then bursts into tears as he can't hold them back anymore, so I hug him holding him in the hug until he fell asleep crying, I then put his bed down and put the cover over him and leave to call Angela.
