Akito: Woah this place is pitch black and everything is... upside down?
Kenji: Yeah, this place is a world of boundless darkness with monsters that progressively get stronger the farther you stray away from the gate to the real world.
Akito: Hmm I've got quite a bit of experience in battle we should be able to get perfect training in this place let's just try not to stray to far.
*Kenji gets a chill down his spine and turns around*
Akito: Yo Kenji you ok?
Kenji: It's fine I just felt like I had eyes staring at the back of my neck
Akito: Take it easy buddy, i feel kind of uneasy in this world too haha.
Kenji: Sure...
*a few minutes later*
Akito: Damn it has no light in here what is up with this place, it's only just enough to see a little of your surroundings.
Kenji: yeah I've only heard about how to get here from the book I've been reading and studying and I've heard about how the monsters work here also.
*Akito bumps into something*
Akito: Wha-! Kenji move out of the way man you know good and well I can't see that well in here
*Kenji in a distance*
Kenji: what?! what are you talking about I'm over here!
*Akito hears growling*
*Akito gulps*
Akito: Um Kenji I don't think this is a rock or anything.
Kenji: Akito run!
*Shadow monster attacks Akito and Akito jumps in the air right before impact*
Akito: Holy s**t that was close!
Kenji: Wait a second I'm about to make a lightning torch to get some light in here!
*Kenji makes a lightning torch that can illuminate up to 200 feet and sends it in the air*
Akito: All right! Way to go Kenji!
Kenji: with my lightning I can make anything so you shouldn't expect any less from a genius such as I!
Akito: ....
Kenji: f**k! Let's just get this over with! that's a 12 feet f*****g shadow monster over there!
Akito: What the hell?!
Akito: Wind sword come forth!
*Wind gathers around and forms a sword*
*Akito runs toward the shadow monster and slices it in half*
Kenji: Wow that was easy.
*Shadow monster puts itself back together*
Akito:!!
Shadow monster: You... Cannot defeat me!
*shadow monster smashes ground*
*Akito and Kenji jump back*
Kenji: I've read about the low tier monsters in this world and they have cores, but if you can't get to the core they will repeatedly regenerate so in other words they are immortal.
Akito: Ok i see what you mean so we just have to destroy his core right?
Kenji: Yes, we have to think of counterattacks to combat this shadow monster his regeneration is fast but if you repeatedly destroy where his core is located he won't have time to regenerate!
Akito: Sure!
Shadow monster: *uncontrollable laughing*
Kenji: What's so funny you heap of junk?!
Shadow monster: Did you really think... it would be that easy!
*Shadow monster instantly disappears*
Kenji: He's fast! where is he?!
*Shadow monster instantly appears behind Kenji and kicks him 50 feet away*
Akito: Kenji!!! you son of a b***h!
*Shadow monster appears behind Akito*
Shadow monster: you should stop running your mouth!
*Shadow monster grabs Akito by the head and drags his face through the pitch black rock for a few seconds*
Kenji: Hey...
Kenji: Don't get cocky you piece of s**t!
Kenji: 1000 fold lightning beam.
*A small cloud appears above the monster*
Shadow monster: Heh what is this little rain cloud going to do?
*The small cloud shoots down a giant potent beam*
Shadow monster: Argh!
*Shadow monster fades away*
*Kenji huffing*
Akito: That was awesome Kenji where'd you learn that?!
Kenji: *Huffing* that just comes with being cool you i***t.
Akito: We should take a break let's drink some water and have a snack.
Kenji: Yeah, let's take 5
*30 minutes later*
Akito: Ok we're all charged up let us continue.
*Storms get worse and they enter the level 2 zone and monsters increase in strength beyond this point*
Kenji: Be on your guard I've taken down my lightning torch to preserve the rest of my energy, even if it barely drains me I have to be at 100% for what is yet to come.
Akito: According to the book what is in "level 2"
Kenji: In level 2 the monsters get stronger, more mobile and smaller and best of all they aren't immortal.
Akito: And the bad part?
Kenji: the longer the fight drags on they get drastically stronger so we can't drag the fight on, and I also forgot to mention certain ones have special abilities similar to us.
Akito: After we get out of here I need to train up on my martial arts and learn to control my power better, how am I the strongest in the academy if I can't do something as simple as defeating a weaker monster?
Kenji: Don't worry, to perfect any style it takes a minimum of a year but your power shouldn't take as long with enough dedication to your craft, I've honed my craft for a whole year and I've been able to come up with stuff last year me would have never imagined, this "power" chose me I don't want to make assumptions but I feel like I'm special you know?
Akito: Yeah, me too.
*a mysterious man is watching from afar*
Mysterious man: Heh this is my chance.
Armonon: Oh? Mere humans have made it this far?
Kenji: lightning torch! Go at it Akito!
Akito: Enough of this it's time to get serious
Armonon: Let's go!
Info: An Armonon is the name of a level 2 guardian monster within the upside world of darkness and are known as the most intelligent of the 5 levels of monsters within the world.
*Akito and the Armonon appear as flashing lights and are fighting at abnormal speeds*
Akito: Ha! I've learned to use my wind nature as a propelling force to amp my speed to keep up with you!
Armonon: Oh? You can keep up with me but can you keep up with 3 more of me?
*The Armonon ejects 3 exact copies of himself*
Akito:!?
Kenji: Oh no you don't!
Kenji: Lightning sword! *Kenji takes on the main body of the monster*
*Kenji in his mind*
Kenji: I have to apply this lightning nature to myself to amp all of my current abilities and I'll try to take on the main body but this will put great strain on my body!
Kenji: I have to do it! Ahhhhh!
*4 small clouds appear above the battle*
*Akito in his head*
Akito: These... these clouds are a bit different then last time, don't overdo it Kenji.
*the 4 clouds rain down lightning from the sky but the Armonon easily dodge it*
Kenji: Gah! It's not my stamina that's the problem since my control over this power isn't absolute it's straining my body and it's going to make my nerves go out of wack!
*Armonon teleports behind Kenji and jumps into the pitch black then comes back to the ground with Kenji head first and smashes him into the ground dragging his head along the dark floor.
*Kenji bleeding out the mouth and heavily injured*
Akito: Kenji!!!
*the remaining Armonon take advantage of Akito's concern and holds him down*
*Armonon smirks in a demon like way and grabs Kenji by the head*
Armonon: This your friend? His head feels like a balloon I wonder if it pops like one too!
Akito: No!
*The Armonon clenches his fist*
Akito: You wouldn't you monster!
Armonon: that's right I'm a monster and I'm just doing my job now shut up and let me execute your friend who so happily entered our territory.
*Blood splattering noise*
*Akito feels the weight lift off of his body*
Akito: What? what is going on?
Kenji: I'm... alive?
*all four bodies instantly fall to the ground*
*Mysterious person from up above with nunchucks in hand*
Mysterious person: It is I! Taicho the embodiment of battle here to save the day!
Taicho: Nice to meet you, comrades!
