“Now, now,” Grams patted the top of Kinley’s head, “maybe that’s why God put you in their path. Maybe you can help them with your story.”
Kinley immediately sat up. “You know I’m not going to tell them my story. So, please stop saying that every time you think God puts me in people’s paths.”
“Do you think God puts you in people’s paths, Kinley?”
“Yes, Grams, I do, not for the reason you think. I am a nurse. I can help people that way.”
“Yes, you can, sweetie. You can also share your story when you need to. I’m not telling you to share it with just anyone. Be open to share it when you think you should.”
