First Meeting

Queen Erin’s POV I wake to an empty bed and don’t need to wonder where Stefan is. Everyone has confirmed their attendance for tomorrow’s meeting. It’ll be the first meeting for the Land of Unity. A sign of how we plan to manage all problems and affairs. I’ve no idea what to expect, but I’m relying on Stefan to guide me. As the meeting is at 8am, the leaders are staying in the guest wing and my Mum and Dad have the twins for us. The dim light passing through the semi open door to his office, tells me where he is. Stefan is sat brooding over tomorrows meeting, no doubt planning what he is going to say and preparing for any questions the others put to him. I head to the bathroom and run him a bath, I plan to help him relax and unwind, again. “Stefan. Please come,” I say from the doorway to the office, once I’ve prepared the bath. He gives me a shy smile and follows me. “You need to relax. The tension is radiating off you.” Once he is in the bath and lays back, I wash and massage the soap into his muscles. Eventually his eyes close and I can feel the tension melting away as he relaxes. Once he’s soaked for a while, I lead him to the bedroom and play some relaxation music on YouTube and massage him until he falls to sleep. Once his soft snores fills the room, I slowly move away from him and get myself ready for bed. I wrap myself around his arm, determined to be aware of any more of his sneaking from bed. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep * * The shrill sound breaks into my dreamless sleep and I feel disorientated as I struggle to associate the sound and open my eyes. * * Beep, beep, beep, beep * * I pull the pillow over my head, as I hear Stefan grumble. * * Beep, beep, beep, beep * * “f**k off,” I hear him snarl and hit the alarm. There’s no further sound and I drift back off into a dreamless sleep. My next moment of awareness is Stefan whispering my name and lightly shaking my arm. “I don’t want to get up,” I whine as I bat his hand away. “It’s my fault for getting out of bed. Let me make it up to you, before you shower,” he chuckles and then I feel him suck my n****e through my camisole. The pleasure takes over as my hands struggle to free my breasts of the fabric that is preventing me from feeling the full affect of his soft wet lips on my hardened n****e. “Let me help you,” he whispers and then he rips my camisole open. “Hey, that was one of the few that fit. Ans my favourite,” I scold him. “Then sleep naked. I much prefer it that way,” he laughs and runs his tongue around my n****e, as he frees me of my shorts and pressing his hard c**k against my weeping core. “Please,” I beg him, wondering why he’s stalling. “Sorry. I was just admiring the view,” he says and I look to his eyes and feel the love he and Jenson have for me. We barely finish and he’s still inside of me as his phone rings. He doesn’t answer it. No sooner does his phone stop, mine begins ringing. “Hello,” I answer, without looking at the screen. “Erin, I’m just heading to the kitchen. Do you and Stefan want me to bring some breakfast for you to the meeting?” Darran asks me. Confused. I look to the clock and curse. It’s 7:40 am. “Please. We won’t be long, we slept in,” I say. “Sure. For all the sleeping you do, you both look very tired a lot of the time,” he laughs and hangs up as I blush. “Busted. Now get that sexy butt showered and dressed, before I take you again and make us late,” Stefan teases and slaps my ass. “I vote for being late.” I laugh. “Normally, I would too. But it’s our first meeting. Come on, let’s get ready.” We’ve surely broken the Guinness world record for love making, showering and dressing. We managed a quickie in the shower and we’re almost at the meeting room and we are dead on time. “Thank you, to all of you, for attending this meeting. Did anyone experience any difficulties on the way? Please accept my apologies for eating my breakfast, while you give your update,” Stefan asks the group once he has taken his seat. Each group member that has travelled, expresses that there have been no difficulties. “Thanks ladies and gents. I was really hoping that our first ever meeting would be a positive one, but I’m afraid it isn’t. Let me begin by detailing our encounter with the Wearbears,” Stefan addresses the group and then gives them every detail of the encounter. “If one werebear can have that much strength and not be concerned with being surrounded by wolves, what can an army of werebears do? What are their numbers?” Alpha Adrian questions. “We don’t know their numbers, or their strength as an army. We have to plan for an attack and war. Today we plan for a future in which we survive,” Stefan answers truthfully. “Most packs won’t survive an attack from Werebears. I remember reading our history books, we’re talking three to four wolves to take down a bear,” Alpha Adrian stresses. “We have Jenson’s enhanced form,” Alpha Tommy speaks up. “He can’t be everywhere!” Alpha Adrian responds, his tone becoming heated. “Besides, we don’t even know what he is capable of,” he finishes in a sigh. The group of Alphas begin voicing their concerns, speaking over each other. It’s fast becoming a panic station. “Jenson is strong. We would come to your aid,” Stefan counters the concerns. “And how would you decide what pack to save if two were attacked at the same time?” “He had a brief battle with one werebear. What if it was a prolonged battle?” “What if it was more than one werebear?” The questions are coming fast, and Stefan has no time to answer, before the next is asked. “Alphas! Group leaders,” I speak firmly and stand from my seat. I wait for all eyes to turn to me. “May I make a suggestion?” I ask them and wait for them all to agree, then I sit back down and prepare myself to speak up, while casting an apologetic glance at Stefan. Just as I think I’m ready, the baby kicks a rib and I wince. “My Queen?” Alpha Adrian asks with concern in his tone. My hand waves across the air. “I’m okay. This little wolf decided my rib was a football. As I was saying, I have a suggestion, if you would be willing to hear it?” “I would.” “We all would, my Queen,” Elsie adds her voice to the mix. I smile at her use of Queen, because I know she’s as tired of the men as I am. “It’s true that we have no idea what the werebears are capable of. It’s also true that we have no idea what their numbers are. And it is equally true that we have no idea what Jenson is capable of. Only last night, we proposed beginning to train Jenson and explore his capabilities. My proposition is this: the Land of Unity is large enough to house us all. I suggest that all packs move behind our boundary walls, you Alphas will train with Jenson and push him to his limits. I would also like to see witchcraft on the training ground, pushing him from every possible angle, after all, we have no clue who their allies are either.” I take a deep breath after my speech and look around the table. Each leader is deep in thought. “That could work,” Elsie smiles. “I’d also like to look at our armoury. We know copper is a werebear weakness. I know we aren’t stupid enough to assume they won’t know how Wolfsbane hurts you. I want armoured defences and copper weapons creating, yesterday,” I add the dramatic ‘yesterday’ to emphasise my point. The room falls deadly silent as all eyes are on me. I’m not sure what to think, have I over stepped the mark? I mean, I’m not a wolf, are they wondering who I think I am? Even the baby has gone still. “Erin…” Stefan sighs as he looks at me with a look of wonder on his face. “As always, you have the answer. You’re the calm in my storm,” he kisses my cheek and I blush. “I would be honoured,” Alpha Adrian says. “I already live here?” Alpha Tommy teases and I know he’s trying to lighten the mood. “Then let us plan to move everybody to the Land of Unity today. My sisters and I, will pair off so that each pack has some magical protection,” Elsie offers. “We have an hour to plan and we must leave within 90 minutes. Time is of the essence, the quicker we act, the less time they have to react,” Stefan tells the group. Stefan squeezes my hand under the table and gives me The ‘We’ll need to talk’ look.
