It was dark, that was the first thing he realised, his eyes scanning his surroundings. Cells rested against damp and dank brick walls, the silver glistening even in the pitch blackness. He felt like he was floating, as though looking down from a distance, his eyes narrowing in on one cell in particular. A woman sat there, her dress loose and patched in places, her skin a glistening white that almost seemed to glow. Her hair seemed to blend into the darkness, but even from here, he could see the brightness and vividness of her eyes, which seemed to be staring directly at him. Who is this girl?
