Jessica stared at the back of Alpha Damien in frustration. He'd raced off and demanded they stay in the car, like they were two miscreant children. She seethed. Daniel, on the other hand, she couldn't help noticing, was more than happy to stay in the car, leaning back against the seat and relaxing his body, even going so far as to turn the music on softly.
"You're really not going to just stay here are you?" she asked him and he raised an eyebrow in response.
"I would rather obey the Alpha's wishes and live to see another day, then go against him and possibly die because of it" he answered smoothly and she sighed.
Well she wasn't going to stay there, she decided. She slowly climbed out of the car.
"What are you doing?" Daniel asked, slightly panicked. " You know he said to stay her
