Needless to say that the next few days were awkward, with Daniel sulking like the child he was, instead of the grown up teenager he needed to act like, and both of their parents deadly silent and irritable. Their vacation had been ruined and Daniel was still refusing to co operate, much to his mother and father's disgust. Gabriel did his best to stay out of it.
A knock on his bedroom door, startled Gabriel out of his thoughts, causing his head to whip around at the door, hoping vehemently it wasn't his little brother. He didn't have the patience to deal with Daniel right now. His entire family had lost patience with Daniel lately.
"Come in" he said hesitantly, smiling in relief when his friend and Beta Jaxon came in.
"Ah there you are" he exclaimed and Gabriel gave a sheepish grin. H
