Then, she saw Su Ya turn her head to look out the window, staring for a very long time. Le Jia didn't dare to call out to her, so she put away her phone and waited by her side.
"Xiao Ya, Xiao Wu said I don't understand. He said it's for being responsible to each other. Do you understand?" Unable to hold back, Le Jia finally spoke up.
Su Ya blinked, and Le Jia saw tears welling up in her eyes. This was the first time Su Ya had cried since losing the child. For a moment, Le Jia felt at a loss.
She wanted to comfort her, but the pain of losing a child, she knew, was something that others couldn't fully empathize with. So, the words on the tip of her tongue were swallowed back down.
Standing up, she pulled out a tissue and wiped the tears from Su Ya's
