An hour after they left, Alex called from the airport. Kel was serious and was flying out to New York and Alex wasn’t going to leave him. On their way out of the territory, they ran into James, who wanted to help in case things got out of hand. Hearing this, Kai was glad her friend was willing to help her brother, even though Kel came off as, well, rude, when they first met.
Though that friendship will be short lived when James finds out who broke his video game…
Loraina and Ace gossiped openly about Max and Kai’s love lives for the better part of two hours before Kai slammed her door shut and Max threatened bodily harm on the two of them. She already knew she was stronger than Loraina, and could probably take Ace down, even though she wasn’t really formally trained to fight.
