The nerves in his stomach woke him up earlier than anticipated for the day. Cal decided to go out for a run before he went to his regularly scheduled training with his newly formed elite fighters. First day jitters, he assumed.
He made it out the front door of his home and shifted into Tyr’s form. Tyr stretched out his limbs and back, and felt the shiver run down his spine. Like coming out of a box and being able to stand for the first time.
“I figured you would be up early,” James stood at the end of the driveway. Tyr trotted down and huffed, watching his breath float up as he stood in front of James. “You’ve grown since that day. You’re nearly eye level with me,” he smirked.
