Introduction to the Dimensions

Khathlyn Duchan or KD is just your average college working student who belongs to a mid class family or does she ?

Welcome to the reverse world of dreams where you put the fineline between reality and the world where vampires,ghouls, werewolf and other mystical creatures exists. The fact that this alternate world existed was only known by very few people in our university town of Sczhanbeel.

There are rumors surrounding the existence of vampires, werewolves and other mythical beings who had not yet been discovered. A few people say they have heard voices, hear screams. Other than those that had said that, there is no other evidence.

Hi I am KD sophomore student of WUS ( West University of Sczhanbeel ) a typical working student who tries hard to excel in both studies and work while balancing out my social activities as a member of the student body.

Well as people see you might find me normal but what lies beneath the normal eye is that beyond this world when everyone's fast asleep I tend to play a very important role. I am a Dream Snatcher well I don't steal good dreams but what I do is balancing the realms of mystery and reality. I am the guardian of the other dimension and I make sure that these two would never cross path or there will be chaos.

I take care of things so it would be impossible for someone to cross over. And because I am the guardian of the dimension, I am always looking out for dangers from outside the dreamscape.

I was also one of the best gaurdians the dream council ever had when it comes to hunting creatures and saving the dimensions.

In reality my family works as what we call corporate slaves. But on the alternate dimension? Boy! They're the Big Boss of a business empire. So that makes me an heiress in my dreams as funny as it may sound but it is true.

But I digress. What exactly do you want to know about this world?

Why do I live with my parents?

Where my friends from school go?

What my friends in real life are like?

How do I get back home when it gets really late at night?

What happens to me when someone calls my name?

What kind of stuff do I get to eat?

Do my dreams involve any s****l acts, or even physical ones.

The thing is, I can tell you some answers to those questions.

First off, why am I the guardian of this dimension? Well this isn't the first time I've come across this question. It happened about 10 years ago when I was a child. My parents were trying to figure out how we ended up here. How we got into Sczhanbeel which wasn't supposed to exist until recently. That's right, we all thought that the realm of Dreams didn't have anything to do with us in the real world.

My birth mother, Eirwen, a witch in this world, was born a human. My father was a werewolf masking as a human in reality. A powerful magical creature that was part wolf, part vampire, part dragon. He had a lot more control over his beastly side compared to a regular man. He was stronger than the average person but still weaker than normal humans. As I grew older I started to grow stronger and stronger, I noticed that I could feel everything around me, including people thoughts and emotions.

It's difficult to juggle my responsibilities as a normal human and as a guardian but I needed to, we need to. As what I've told earlier I belonged to our university's student body as a matter of fact this organization is the same organization I belonged to in the dreamscape. Me and the others are mystical creatures of the other realm while human on the real world. I for one is a Hybrid with the powers of witch magic and the physical strength and capabilities of a werewolf.

My best friends Nichole Ghustnam an elf and Johannes Brahms a Sorcerer. Our Cheif Myles Garrett is a Vampire-zombie yes, they exist and it makes him as if a double dead creature but Damn is He the Hottest. Our secretary Xhielda Vaughndoe a Succubus-Angel aren't we a bunch of weird mixes? All of us were born in the other realm. We each lived lives in our own dimension before our birth, each of us have our own unique abilities we inherited from the land that created us.

When I think about it now I realize it was not all luck and coincidences.

In the real world we are just a bunch of wanna be young adults trying to take a grip of life. But way back on the other dimension we are technically, how should I say this well we lived for years since we are almost immortals.

We knew the rules of the dreamscape and most of the world.

We know the truth of this world and the reality behind this world.

And even though some would say it is not all worlds the same'

the dreamscape has its own set of rules.

That is why we are here today. To help those in trouble.

This world is full of danger. Of evil, darkness, sadness. Of suffering.

Of death.

We help those who are struggling, fighting for survival against the cruelest of odds.

Fighting against themselves.

Against the demons and the ghosts and hellhounds that lurk around the corners and wait for them to fall into their trap.

Those who suffer. Those who struggle. Those who almost show the embodiment of the grip of the entity that lurks behind their dreams. The enemy knows the weak and they usually feed on their energies to become stronger inside the dreamscape.

The alternate dimension of dreams are divided into two the ones where we lived the later is where the worst of the nightmares exists waiting to uproot the weak. These creatures are called the Nightcrawlers a bunch of hybrids gone wrong and rouge they lack of empathy and needs to feed on energy to extend their life force as they've been cursed not to live a long life because of what their ancestors did on the past.

Our job as dreamsnatchers' is to keep humans safe and away from harm.
