We’re back in the Land Rover again, speeding out of Giza and into the desert, hopefully heading in the right direction. We’ve been using a compass and following the map that we marked out after I found out about Eldra Dairum, but that will only get us so far.
“Are you sure you can do this, Em?” Ru asks as I prepare to reach my mind out to find the exact location. “I mean, you’ve only been back from the Other World for a few hours. Shouldn’t you rest?”
“I’m fine, Ru,” I say impatiently. “Besides, I don’t know how long it will be until Bethamous can search for us again. We might only have half an hour.”
“Alright. I’m just worried about you. You’re pasty, you look like death.”
