"What are we going to tell Jeremiah?"
Deise asked David they were standing in the living as David was about to walk out the door.
Still feeling like her heart was ripped out after a night of crying tossing and turning in bed when David came over to pick up the papers she reluctantly signed and gave them to him.
Deep down she knew their marriage was over also over the years there's been talk about him with other women.
"He's just starting play don't want this to distract him so until he graduates college we keep this between us. David explained
Denise crossed her arms.
"How are we going to do that and what about when he has games or we need family moment she raised her hands up making quotations.
"For games and any other events we will still be married but afterward we go our separate ways."
Denise had a look of disappointment.
The version of David she was looking at now was not the man she married or the man she thought he was.
He sighed.
"Who is she?" Denise questioned.
David's eyes grew wide.
"For the last time, I did not cheat on you. "He said scowled
"Whatever," Denise said turning her back to him.
David shook his head and simply walked out of the house.
(1 year later)
Denise made her way up to the University of Arkansas for another of her son's football game even though she supports her son every football game means she has to see David.
Even though it's been a year since the divorce everytime she sees him she starts to question herself about her looks to be more experimental in the bedroom.
As she got out making her way to the stadium people were quickly filling up the stands the sounds of trumpets and drums filled her ears as she walked up the steps on the other side was David she went over to him he was texting on his phone like she didn't exist as she sat down. It was all about the image to him.
Soon the football team came out and the game stared Deise was watching while David was on his phone for most of the game.
The stadium roaring with cheering crowd as Jeremiah runs the winning touchdown.
Once the game is over Denise and David make their way down to meet Jeremiah to the field
"You played great!"Denise smiled.
"Good game," David said as he and Jeremiah did a high five.
Jeremiah smiled.
"Thanks," he told his parents
"Hey J couch wants to talk to us one of his teammates said.
"Ok I'm coming, "Jeremiah told him
Then he walked off towards his team by the time Deinse turned David was gone he did his part so she walked back to the parking lot as she was getting into her car a red car passed her with David and some woman sitting in the passenger side.
Denise gets in her car and drives back to the one place she wanted to be that night home.
