I was about to run when I suddenly froze in my tracks.
Something stirred inside me, a sensation I had never felt before.
It didn’t just rise—it surged, making me feel powerful, strong, and bold.
The only time I had ever felt something close to this was when I craved revenge against Kayla and Alex.
But this…this was different.
Like I was possesd by an unseen force. By the spirit of many goddess. One that was different from my wolf powers.
“Damien, you can control yourself!” I yelled, a fierce growl ripping from my throat.
Since Damien is an Alpha, I knew he couldn’t simply bow to my command. All I need to do is call him to order.

“I can’t control it!” he cried, clutching his chest as he stumbled backward, shaking his head desperately, as if afraid of him
