Melanie’s eyes widened as Jack strode forcefully across the kitchen towards her.
"What are you doing? ‟ she gasped, even as she took a wary step backwards while clasping her clothes. Jack’s mouth twisted with satisfaction as that step brought Melanie up against one of the kitchen cupboards, leaving her with nowhere else to go.
"I’m going to seduce you, darling, of course," he told her, standing so close to her that he could see the broad nerve pulsing erratically in her throat and the broad apprehension in her eyes.
