Ma It’s three in the morning, and Ma’s just getting home. She worked her three-to-eleven shift today, but I guess she decided to get a drink or two at the bar. She drops her keys on the wooden coffee table and sits next to me on the couch. She then takes off her shoes and bends her toes repeatedly. When we were younger, Jason and I would fight over who got to rub Ma’s feet when she got off work. To keep the peace, Ma would settle it by insisting that we each have a turn. Things have certainly changed with the three of us. It’s definitely not like how it used to be.
