thirteen “Derren went to get food,” Archer said as they began to ascend the stairs of their apartment building. He’d hung around at Sizzle much longer than she’d thought he would. Maybe he still thought he had some groveling to do, but he’d stayed with her the whole day, putting in a full shift without complaining.
