ROBERTO KOZAK: A CHILEAN OSKAR SCHINDLER
Ukrainians have been scattered throughout the world, and many of them have become well-known on the global arena, or even heroes for their new motherlands. However, in Ukraine few people know about them. For example, the family of Roberto Kozak's father emigrated to Chile at the end of the nineteenth century. His mother, who was also of Ukrainian origin, was born in Buenos Aires. Roberto himself, perhaps, did not speak Ukrainian at all, but his story is of the global significance.
