On the edge of his bed, Kacy held his phone to his ear and smiled a little while his eyes were focused on the picture of him and Karma, which he kept in his wallet. Words couldn't describe how much he missed her and it'd only been a week since her sudden death. He'd spend so much of his time watching past videos of them and just calling her phone, listening to her voicemail which is what he was doing. Karmas laugh started off the voicemail and Kacy knew why. The day she had set it up, he snuck up behind her and attacked her neck with kisses. "Kacy move" she tried to whisper, "Hey, this is Karma" "And Kacy" Kacy yelled in the background. "Yes, and Kacy. Sorry we couldn't answer but please leave your name or number a-" "You have caller ID. Why they needa leave they s-" "Shut up, please leave your name and number and we'll get back to you" The beep snapped Kacy from his thoughts and he tossed his phone on the bed to prevent himself from smashing it against the wall. He could no longer be angry, now he was upset. The only woman he was willing to give himself to, the only woman who stood by him even when he continued to push her away, the only woman he honestly saw a future with, was dead. Never coming back. A few more moments to himself, Kacy walked out his room just as the front door opened. Chris walked in with a slim, dark skinned woman behind him. Her hair was thick but was beautiful. Her natural hair complimented her very well. "Kacy, this Jesse" Chris introduced. The two shook hands and within a matter of seconds, Moesha ran from the kitchen with a plate of food in her hands and a wide smile on her face. After hearing a recent news report about Wendell being killed and Akoni was definitely the first person to pop into everyone's mind, the team set out and found Wendell's wife. "Momo" Jess called, seeing her daughter smile. She didn't believe the people who'd taken her were treating her well but no, she couldn't deny it. In new clothes, with her hair freshly done, she was taken care of. Moesha smiled wider when she saw her mom "Hey momma, you meet Kacy yet?" Was the first thing she said. As the days continued to go on, Kacy and Moesha had began to get closer. She really looked up to him and he couldn't help but adore her. He's the reason her hair is neatly braided back and not in an afro like her mother's. "Yes sweetie, I met him" Moesha eyes searched behind her mother and her smile dropped. Everyone knew what was crossing her mind "Come on, Moe. I have to tell you something" her mom stated. When the girls walked off, Kacy met Dion and Morgan in the living room with Ed and a couple of guys who worked with him. The living room was full of guns and armor because a war was sure to break out. "Jose said his guys should be here by tonight" Morgan said as he burped baby Morgan. She began drooling on his shirt and when Morgan gave her that look , she laughed making him smile. In all truths, Morgan had no idea how he was going to explain to Morgan what happen to her mother when she's older. The plan was to be done with all that type of stuff before it got to a point where someone died. He kissed his daughters temple and sat on the couch. She busied herself with playing with his chain "Moesha momma here" Kacy stated "So with alla that out the way and someone here ta watch the lil ones, this s**t gon start movin a whole lot quicker" "Yeap. So what I went ahead and did was questioned Jess about all the places she know Akoni to be and I got the addresses" Chris started "So we'll hit up all these places and if he not there, we f**k s**t up. It'll be like a lil message to let him know we're coming and coming hard" Dion nodded as he picked up different guns "Sounds good. I need to blow off some steam so s**t, I'm down" "Definitely" Kacy mumbled, Morgan nodding. A loud knock at the front door got everyone's attention and they either drew their guns or picked one up and pointed it at the door. Morgan quickly went and put baby Morgan in the next room with Moesha and Jess. Dion walked up to the door and when he opened it, everyone's guns dropped. Jose stood at the door, in an all black tux with his wife by his side. Behind them, vans and tricks were beginning to pull up. "Hope we're not intruding" He smiled "But we're here to help. All of us" Stepping aside, Dion allowed everyone to walk in. He observed the motions taking place outside and let out a sigh of relief. The last thing he wanted, or anyone else, was to lose another person. With the help of everyone though, he doubted that'd happen. But things always seem to take a turn for the worse.
