Morgan grabbed the small paper found on the floor and flipped it over to see if anything was on the back because the few letters on the front wasn't meaning anything to him.
"Aye, Kacy" he called. Kacy came over from talking to Ed and Morgan passed him the small paper which had the letters Rom written across the top and $50 under it. "Know what that could mean?"
"Nah man, but try and find the other piece to it" Kacy was stressed out and it was very evident to everyone he came across. Karma not being by his side was really taking a toll on him.
He blew out a breathe as he walked back over to Ed and showed him the paper "Any idea man?"
Ed looked at it and flipped it over, seeing if anything was on the back but there wasn't. "Nah, but Chris might know what it mean. I'm gonna take a picture and send it to him"
Kacy nodded and walked upstairs then outside the small house. He stood on the front steps and just looked out, observing the area. It wasn't familiar to him but that didn't mean anything.
Slowly, Kacy walked along the grass until he was in the middle of the road. Something told him to look down, and that's where he found tire skid marks and what appeared to be the other half of the white paper.
Just as it seemed luck was on his side, when he picked it up , it was empty on both sides. He sighed loudly "f**k man"
Karma wiped her tears and looked at her self in the mirror. Roman allowed her to take a shower at his condo and offered a few clothes she could wear.
She declined the first outfit which had been a mini skirt and tank top that had been cut to be a bra. But she took the second outfit which had been sweats, which weren't the normal loose ones, and a regular tank top.
Slowly, she walked out the bathroom feeling clean and refreshed, into the large bedroom of Roman. She's seen bigger but for a man that lived alone, it was pretty big.
To afraid to do anything, including move, she stood in front of the bathroom door. It had been a few minutes until Roman walked in. In his hand, was lunch made by his chef.
"You're just gonna stand there?" He asked. She didn't seem to hear him so Roman roughly grabbed her arm, pulling her towards the bed. "Sit down and eat" he ordered and Karma listened. He looked her over "Don't expect a big meal like that everyday. Only reason you're getting it today is because I'm sure you haven't eaten in a few days. And honestly, my woman are not as big as you"
Karma looked down at herself. She was only a size 5. She wasn't big.
"Its disgusting and you should feel ashamed of yourself. Fuckin pig"
Because of her past and her troubles with her body appearance, Karma took his comments to heart but wouldn't let him know that as she slowly ate her burger.
"After you eat, you will accompany me to a meeting I have with a customer. You will wear what I say and do what I say, when I say. Don't think just because we'll have company that I won't smack your dumb ass. You understand?"
"Yea"
"And when you address me, it will be as Sir. Yes Sir. Anything other then that is not acceptable"
Karma swolled the lump in her throat and nodded "Yes sir"
"I like how that sounds coming from your sweet lips. I'll have to see what else they look nice doing" Roman laughed "So anyway, how'd you and Kacy meet?"
Karma wiped the ketchup from the side of her mouth and opened her mouth to speak.
"You don't hear me speaking to you? Do I have to dumb it down for you to understand?"
Karma shook her head "No sir. We met through a friend"
He nodded "Would that friend be Dion?"
Her eyes widened "How do y-"
"I've been watching you for awhile, you know. The first time I laid eyes on you, I knew I wanted you to myself. "
A look of confused came over Karmas face.
"So you don't remember me huh? OK, that day at your party when Dion was shot. The man you looked at just a few moments before. That was me"
It took awhile but Karma finally remembered who he was. That creepy guy who she thought had something to do with Dion being shot.
"From that moment, I wanted you. It just took patience and a friend who didn't know which side he played for. In case your dumb ass haven't caught on yet, its Slim. " Roman laughed again "He's probably dead by now though. Damn, he could never keep his mouth closed. Oh well, one less person on my payroll means more money for me. "
His eyes looked back at Karma and he held a look of disgust as she was almost done with her burger. She met his gaze and getting the message, she set the burger down and her gaze went to her feet.
"Get dressed. Your outfit is in the closet. Meet me downstairs when you're done"
