She got out of the car and stretched her sleepy legs. It was a peaceful place as the air was fresh. It had been just two days that Eryna had left this place but she could feel how much she had missed the air and the peaceful surrounding.
“Miss you seem to like this place,” The driver stood beside her and asked her.
Eryna, who was caught off guard, looked at him and replied with a smile.
“Very much, I wish I could stay here forever,” She replied joyously.
“You seem to wish for a lot of things,” Micah spoke grumpily and walked past her leisurely,
“Guess someone had been sitting on a hot stove,,” Eryna mumbled.
Micah stopped for a moment but didn’t turn to say anything before walking into the building.
Eryna followed without any other comments and they were warmly welcomed by the resort staff. And a lady in a black formal suit walked up to them and bowed a little before speaking.
“Let me walk you to your room.” She smiled warmly, but for some reason, Eryna felt something was off.

‘What is this situation? I didn’t sign up for this.’
Eryna stood in the midst of a room with Micah standing right in front of her, The room was decorated with red and white roses and the white comfy bed had a huge heart made out of rose petals.
There were candles all over the room accompanied by the faint and soothing smell of roses and lavender.
Micah glared at Eryna with a suspicious gaze.
“What are you looking at? Do you think I made them do all this?”
‘Is he nuts? Does he think I am that desperate?’
At Eryna’s confident claim Micah looked at the lady in black who had a smirk on her face.
“Call the manager, “ With an almost murderous voice Micah growled at the smirking lady.
“But…” she tried to speak but Micah spoke again.
“If you don’t wish to lose your job, THEN CALL THE MANAGER!.” He growled
The lady ran out of the room leaving Eryna alone with Micah. He looked around the room and slowly his gaze wandered back towards Eryna. Micah’s eyes were curious but Eryna felt like he was mocking her.
“Oh, Please. Just like you said I was only here for your money. I don’t have interest in men like you,”
He glared back at her one last time before walking out of the room.
“HA, He thought I would let him belittle me every time we see each other.” Eryna stared at the closed door with a smug face.
“Phew! I am tired…” Eryna threw her body over the soft comfy bed.
The soothing environment made Eryna sleepy, but just as she was about to close her eyes she heard a knock on the door. She reluctantly got up of her bed and dragged her tired body towards the door.
“Who is it?”
She opened the door to see a maid standing before her door.
“Miss, the food is ready you are requested to come to the dining room.”
She spoke with the utmost respect.
“Okay, let’s go,” Eryna was hungry so she walked behind her through the long hallway. And finally, she stood before a magnificent wooden door and pushed it open.
‘You may enter,” She looked at Eryna and spoke.
Eryna stepped into the hall like a room with multiple tables, and in the far most corner, she saw a figure emitted a dark aura.
“Miss. This way,” The maid pointed but Eryna replied with a smile.
“Thanks, I will go on my own,” And she walked towards the table with a smile. For some reason, Eryna had noticed that whenever she smiled at him his expression would become very uncomfortable and she had fun teasing him like that so she kept a bright smile on her face.
She was just a few steps away from the table when her heel slipped on the marble floor, which caused her to lose her balance. Her heart leaped out of her chest and she tightly closed her eyes involuntarily.

Before she could hit the floor someone grabbed her in the mid-air and supported her body against his firm chest.
‘Did he just save me from falling?’ Eryna was speechless she opened her eyes to confirm that what she thought was true and then, her eyes were welcomed by a pair of attractive brown eyes. His facial features were distinct, his lips slightly twitched and he spoke.
“Are you alright Miss?” the handsome guy asked in an attractive voice.
‘Wow...Where did he come from? That was fast’
Eryna lifted her body and took a step away from the guy and smiled.
“Thank you so much for helping me out, or I would have definitely broken my back.” Eryna giggled.
“Aren’t you sitting?” She heard Micah’s overbearing voice.
She looked at him with an angry expression.
“Can’t you see I am thanking my lifesaver?” Eryna spoke sarcastically.
“You think you would have died by slipping on the floor?” He replied in an equally sarcastic tone.
Eryna glared at him.
“Whatever,” she said and turned around, “Thanks again,” She spoke gracefully and headed towards the table with puffed cheeks.
She took a seat on the table where Micah sat. The waiters slowly brought in the food. The rich aroma of the steak on the table brought water to Eryna’s mouth as she looked at it with a romantic gaze.
“Are you satisfied with the dishes,” A familiar voice spoke from Eryna’s side which made her look in that direction. The man who had saved her from falling stood right beside the table with a welcoming gaze.
“You…?” Eryna was puzzled for why he was standing there like that,
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I am the Managing Director here and I will be helping you out for as long as you stay here,” He spoke with a warm voice and stared at Eryna. He made it seem like Micah wasn’t even present here.
