Chapter 3 : Dane Emerson

*  Dane Emerson, soon to be alpha of the Red Stone pack, and the king of the Lakewood academy boarding school for supernatural and    human beings. He was reckless yet he still held authority and the respect of everyone, including the elders. He would be turning 18 soon which means he will soon claim his place as Alpha and be able to find his mate. He has the whole package already, extremely good looking, smart in all his subjects, and very powerful, unfortunately he is a huge manwh*re.

Danes POV

I blink my eyes open hearing banging on the front door of my room followed by the yelling of Liam saying " Wake up dude it's 10:00 AM already!!! ". I don't respond and he continues banging on the door, I growl ,jump of the bed getting irritated and swing open the door to see him grinning like a weirdo. " What!!!" I ask still abit annoyed. " Good you're up." he says nonchalantly. He's about to say something else when a voice interrupts him, " Dude, why the f*ck are you being so loud?" . We turn around to see a naked carter standing at his room door. 

" Oh good you're up too" says Liam. Carter and I both glare at him. These two idiots are my bestfriends and soon to be beta and gamma of the Red Stone pack.

" First of all we have go back to the packhouse because your dad wants to speak to us and secondly, where the hell are your pants?" he says turning to carter at the last part. I also turn to him wondering the same thing. " what I was feeling hot last night." he shrugged.

" Well put on some clothes and let's go both of you!" he says waving his hands at both of us.

Once done we took my Lamborghini and headed to the packhouse.

An hour and a half later we reached pack lands and drove past security to let them know who it is and parked off. Our packhouse is pretty huge compared to the other packs because we're the biggest in America with a total of 980 wolves. We are also the strongest pack with the best and most lethal of specialist and warriors. 

As we walk up the stairs and into the house we are immediately greeted by my mother, the luna's, warm embrace. She hugs us all so tight that we start to feel abit suffocated. Once she lets go we take a few breaths before greeting her back. " Oh my goodness boys how are you all doing?" .

"Hey mom" " Hi Luna" "Hi Luna" we all say in unison. We talk for a few minutes before my dad descends the stairs with the current beta Elijah and gamma Oliver and their mates next to them, Liam and Carter's parents. "Ahhh, boys you're home." states my dad. 

We all greet eachother and then my dad excuses us to talk in his office.

All six of us take our seats before my dad begins addressing us.

"Dane as you know in a weeks time you will be turning 18 and will have to take on the position of Alpha soon after, with Liam and Carter as your Beta and Gamma. Your mother and I have already started making preparations for the ceremony and it will go as followed. After the ceremony in which I transfer the Alpha title to you, you and the entire pack will shift and run through the woods to strengthen the pack bond. Thereafter the feast will commence. Is there anything you have an issue with son?" He explained and asked. " Not at all" I Gave a nod and lightly smiled. 

"Very well then we are all done here gentlemen" he smiled and dismissed us. Don't get me wrong, my father is an extremely loved and respected person but he is also feared by everyone and I'd hate to get on his bad side, but there are too many thoughts flooding my head and stressing me out right now and he doesn't need to know that and think that I'm not ready for the position, I need a distraction.

Just as I'm walking back outside I see Mindy, one of my old quickies. Ha, perfect distraction. I walk over putting on my best smile and hug her from behind. She turns around, abit startled at first but her face brightens when she sees me, but then it turns into a pouty face and she crosses her arms and turns away from me. Oh my gosh what now!!! 

" Didn't you miss me?" I ask and put my hands on her waist again. " You forgot all about me and you don't even call!" she whined . 

"Oh c'mon baby I've just been really busy with school and meetings with my dad. Please forgive me, you know I love you" I say with my best puppy eyes. She immediately says ok and jumps onto me. Ugh! girls and this mushy s**t.

" How about we go up to my room?" she asks wiggling her eyebrows. Don't mind if I do!

" Sure lets go."

Avery's POV

I giggle as my ear gets attacked by a puppy licking it, I don't even know who's dog it is but it really is cute...Wait a minute! I don't even remember getting off the jet, I immediately snap my eyes open and realize that Luke is giving me a wet willy. I jump up and start rubbing my ear on my shoulder.

"Eww you pigg thats disgusting!!!" I shout at Luke who is now clutching his stomach and laughing. " Haha very funny". I say with no humor what so ever in my voice as I glare at him.

" We landed and I was trying to wake you up but you didn't budge" he says as he finally stops laughing.

" ughh whatever". I shake my head but smile. stupid.

We get off the jet and there's already a range rover parked and waiting for us with our luggage in the boot. We greet the chauffeur who looks to be somewhere around his mid forties and he introduces himself as Henry. We jump in and he drives off towards the school.

Hmmm, why am I getting such a weird feeling all of a sudden?
