“Ivy!” She jolted awake with a sharp inhale, her eyes flying open and finding his face immediately like she had known exactly where he was even in the dark behind her eyelids. Her lips curled into a smile. Slow and genuine and a little exhausted. "You guys won." She chuckled weakly, her voice rough. The tightness in his chest didn't release the way it should have. "I told you not to do that, didn't I?" He asked, his voice dropping back to its usual register but not quite making it to cold. "You said I shouldn't leave."
