Twelve towering Draconian leaders sat on thrones carved from black obsidian, their reptilian eyes glowing in the dim light.
A hologram of a general appeared before them, bowing low. “Esteemed Council, Kael’thar has fallen. The human resistance is stronger than anticipated.”
One of the council members, a sinister figure with jagged scales and deep crimson eyes, leaned forward. “Stronger? Or merely lucky?”
Another councilor hissed, their forked tongue flicking in the air. “This was no mere luck. The Star Force Knights have tapped into an ancient power. If left unchecked, they could threaten our entire campaign.”
The leader of the council, a massive Draconian known as Zaryx, slammed his clawed hand onto the table. “Then we shall escalate. Send the next wave. But this time, no mercy. Use the shadow artifacts.”
The room fell silent. Even among the Draconians, the shadow artifacts were feared.
“Are you certain, Zaryx?” one councilor asked. “The artifacts’ power is unpredictable.”
