Chapter 15: The Draconian General The alert on the command center’s map was unlike anything the team had seen before. A massive red pulse radiated from a remote desert region, its energy signature dwarfing anything the Draconians had previously unleashed. “This isn’t just another attack,” Mira said, her eyes scanning the data. “It’s concentrated. Strategic.” Tommy crossed his arms, his expression serious. “They’re up to something big. We need to move now.” “Wait,” Ethan interjected. “What if this is another trap? The last ambush nearly wiped us out.” “We don’t have a choice,” Kimberly said firmly. “If we don’t act, more lives could be at risk.” Tommy nodded. “Gear up. We’re heading out.” --- A Wasteland of Fear The Knights teleported to the desert, their boots hitting the scorching sand. The sun hung high in the sky, casting long shadows over the barren landscape. In the distance, a towering fortress of black metal rose from the dunes, its jagged spires pulsing with dark energy. “That’s not ominous at all,” Connor muttered, gripping his weapon tightly. “Stay alert,” Tommy said. “We don’t know what’s waiting for us.” As they approached the fortress, the air grew heavier, charged with malevolence. The entrance loomed before them, its massive doors creaking open as if inviting them inside. “I hate this already,” Sophia whispered. --- The Trap Springs The team stepped into a cavernous chamber lit by flickering green lights. Rows of Draconian soldiers stood at attention, their reptilian forms gleaming in the dim light. At the far end of the room, a massive figure emerged from the shadows. It was a Draconian General, easily twice the size of the soldiers. Its scales were jet black, its eyes glowing with an eerie crimson light. A long, serrated blade rested in its clawed hand, and its voice was a low, guttural growl. “Welcome, Star Force Knights,” the General said, its words dripping with contempt. “You’ve meddled in our plans long enough.” “Who are you?” Tommy demanded, stepping forward. “I am General Vraxis,” it replied, raising its blade. “And I will be your end.” Without warning, the soldiers charged. The Knights sprang into action, their weapons clashing with the enemy’s as chaos erupted. --- A Desperate Fight The Knights fought valiantly, but the sheer number of enemies threatened to overwhelm them. General Vraxis watched from the shadows, his presence a constant, oppressive weight. Kimberly ducked under a Draconian’s swipe, delivering a devastating blow with her Capricorn staff. “There’s too many of them!” “Stay together!” Tommy shouted, his Taurus hammer smashing into the ground and creating a shockwave that sent several soldiers flying. Sophia and Connor fought back-to-back, their attacks perfectly synchronized. “We need to take out Vraxis,” Sophia said through gritted teeth. “He’s the one commanding them.” --- Facing Vraxis Tommy charged toward the General, his hammer glowing with energy. “Your fight is with me!” Vraxis smirked, blocking Tommy’s attack with ease. “Foolish human. You’re no match for me.” The two clashed, their weapons sending sparks flying. Tommy’s attacks were powerful but lacked the precision to land a decisive blow. Vraxis countered with brutal efficiency, forcing Tommy to retreat. “Ethan! Liam! Cover me!” Tommy shouted. Ethan’s Leo energy claws raked through the air, creating a fiery barrier that slowed the General’s advance. Liam followed up with a blast from his Aquarius cannon, the energy strike forcing Vraxis back. “Is that all you’ve got?” Vraxis roared, his blade glowing with dark energy. He unleashed a devastating attack, sending the Knights flying across the room. --- Zodiac Titans Unleashed “Time for the Titans!” Tommy called out. “Zodiac Titans, arise!” The Knights summoned their machines, which materialized outside the fortress and burst through the walls. The Titans roared to life, their massive forms dwarfing the Draconians. Tommy’s Taurus Titan charged at Vraxis, its horns glowing with energy. The General summoned a giant, reptilian beast to counter the Titans, and the desert shook as the two titans clashed. Kimberly’s Capricorn Titan scaled the fortress walls, raining energy blasts on the Draconian soldiers below. Meanwhile, Ethan’s Leo Titan grappled with the enemy beast, holding it in place as Mira’s Virgo Titan delivered precision strikes. --- The Power of Unity Despite their efforts, Vraxis’s beast proved nearly unstoppable. The Knights realized they needed to combine their strength. “Let’s form the Ultra Titan!” Tommy shouted. The Titans merged, their forms locking together in a dazzling display of light and power. The Ultra Titan stood tall, its armor shimmering with the combined energy of the Zodiac. “Let’s finish this!” Kimberly called out. The Ultra Titan unleashed a devastating energy blast, striking the beast and Vraxis simultaneously. The fortress crumbled as the explosion lit up the desert, reducing the Draconian forces to ashes. --- A New Threat As the dust settled, the Knights stood victorious. General Vraxis lay defeated, his form flickering as he struggled to speak. “You think this is over?” he rasped. “This... is just the beginning.” With a final gasp, Vraxis disintegrated, leaving behind a dark crystal that pulsed with energy. “What is that?” Mira asked, her voice uneasy. Tommy picked up the crystal, his expression grim. “It’s a message. The Draconians aren’t done. They’re preparing for something bigger.” The Knights returned to the command center, their victory overshadowed by the looming threat. As the crystal pulsed ominously, they knew the fight was far from over. --- To Be Continued...
