Chapter 3: The First Battle The roar of the Draconian beast echoed through the ruined city, its glowing red eyes fixated on the Star Force Knights. The ground trembled beneath its massive claws as it swiped at the wreckage, sending debris flying. Tommy raised his hammer, its Zodiac energy crackling with power. "Spread out! Don’t let it corner us!" The Knights moved into formation. Each of them instinctively felt their place in the team, their rings guiding their movements like second nature. Ethan - The Bold Leo Ethan charged forward, his lion-shaped sword glowing with fiery energy. "Let’s see how tough you are!" he shouted, leaping into the air and slashing at the beast’s thick hide. Sparks flew as his blade connected, but the creature barely flinched. The beast swung its massive arm at Ethan, but he rolled out of the way just in time, landing gracefully beside Sophia. "Careful, hotshot," Sophia said, her Scorpio armor glowing as her twin daggers extended. "This thing isn’t just for show." Sophia - The Deadly Scorpio Sophia darted around the beast’s legs with impressive speed, her daggers leaving glowing trails of energy as she struck. Her hits were precise, aiming for the creature’s joints. The beast roared in frustration, swiping at her, but she was too fast. "I’ve got its attention!" she called out. "Hit it while it’s distracted!" Mira - The Tactical Virgo Mira stepped back, her Virgo armor glowing with a soft, calculated light. She raised her staff, summoning a wave of energy that struck the creature’s left leg. "Focus on its weak points!" Mira shouted. "The joints and the chest! That’s where its energy is concentrated." "Got it!" Liam replied, his Aquarius armor shimmering. Liam - The Innovative Aquarius Liam aimed his plasma cannons at the beast’s chest, firing a concentrated blast of water-like energy. The impact caused the creature to stagger backward, its roar vibrating through the air. "Direct hit!" Liam grinned, moving to dodge the creature’s retaliatory strike. Kimberly - The Relentless Capricorn Kimberly leapt onto the beast’s back, her Capricorn mace glowing with intense energy. With a determined yell, she slammed it down on the creature’s neck, causing it to thrash wildly. "Not so tough now, are you?" she smirked, gripping tightly as the beast tried to shake her off. "Hang on, Kimberly!" Connor called out. Connor - The Fierce Aries Connor charged forward, his ram-shaped shield glowing with fiery energy. He rammed into the beast’s legs, causing it to lose balance. The creature fell to one knee, giving the Knights an opening. "Now, Tommy!" Connor yelled. Tommy - The Unyielding Taurus Tommy stepped forward, his hammer glowing brighter than ever. He swung it with all his might, striking the beast’s chest. The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the air, causing the creature to collapse to the ground. The beast let out a final, ear-splitting roar before disintegrating into a cloud of black smoke. --- The Aftermath The city fell silent, the Knights standing amidst the destruction. Their armor flickered briefly before retracting, leaving them in their regular clothes. "We did it," Ethan said, catching his breath. "That was... insane." "It’s just the beginning," Tommy replied, his gaze serious. "The Draconians will send more. And next time, it won’t be just one beast." Kimberly placed a hand on his shoulder. "We’ll be ready. We’re in this together." Tommy nodded, a faint smile breaking through his stern expression. "Let’s head back to the command center. We need to prepare for what’s coming." --- Back at the Command Center The Knights returned through the portal, their exhaustion evident. They gathered around the central table, where Tommy activated a holographic display. The screen showed an image of a massive Draconian warship in orbit, surrounded by smaller ships. "They’re watching us," Mira said, her voice tinged with concern. "Let them watch," Connor replied, crossing his arms. "Next time, we’ll be even stronger." Sophia nodded. "But we need to figure out how they control those beasts. If we can cut off their connection..." Tommy gestured to the Zodiac wheel. "That’s our next mission. We need to uncover their telepathic network and find a way to disrupt it. In the meantime, we’ll keep training and mastering our powers." The Knights exchanged determined glances. "Whatever it takes," Liam said, his voice firm. Tommy placed his hand on the table, the Zodiac symbols glowing beneath his palm. "Star Force Knights, we’ve proven what we can do today. Let’s make sure we’re ready for tomorrow." The room filled with a sense of unity and resolve as the Knights prepared for the battles to come. To Be Continued...
