Luther I was still laughing when we got back to my castle. The guards were waiting, as were a few of the men who had returned from the mission I had sent them on. "What did you find out?" I asked, turning to my men. "Not a lot, to be fair," one guard replied, scratching his head with a puzzled frown. "There have been no activity in the area during that whole week, let alone the night it happened." "Yeah, I came to the same result," I confessed. I turned my attention to my other men. "What about you?" They looked more hopeful, which I took as confirmation. The first team was sent to look for vampire activities - rebel factions or wild free-range vampires.
