Luther Ava didn't look as refreshed as I had hoped. Though, I couldn't shift the feeling that something wasn't right. Despite being tired, her mood seemed unaffected. Of course, looking for the vampire that killed her father was the only thing on her mind. On mine, however, it seemed more of a distraction. A welcomed one, at least, for the moment. How long I'd need the distraction for, was hard to say. But I had my own reasons for bringing her out with me for some investigation work.
