Nathan intended to see if Will Simon and his solicitor were ready to make a deal when he returned to the station, before he could do that, however, he had a couple of things he needed to take care of. The first thing he had to do was bring his team up to date with the latest developments, namely that the Banks case was now on hold, pending the decision from the coroner, that would free up his officers to pursue the other investigations they had active. He was down to just two major cases himself: the fatal assault on Max Clarkwell, which he hoped to have all but finished once he spoke to Will Simon again, and the assault on Louisa. He had no leads when it came to that case, no solid leads anyway, and that annoyed him because he was desperate to catch whoever had attacked his friend. Bef
