Nathan looked around as Burke drove them onto the South Hill Estate and headed for the address the Drugs Squad files said was where Jake Trent had lived with his mum. It had been a while since he had had cause to visit the estate; it had its fair share of trouble, but little that required the attention of someone of his rank. Not much appeared to have changed from the last time he was there. The majority of the houses remained dirty, with untidy yards, and numerous signs of damage or disrepair that hadn’t been attended to in some time.
