MADELINE'S POV -- 'Jaxon!' I squeal as he tickles me. 'There's that smile,' he beams, his fingers stopping their attack on my sides. My laughter settles into a huff, my chest bouncing with silent giggles as his arms wrap around me from behind, his head leaning against the top side of mine. The water lay before us, the lagoon reflecting the light of the moon with a beautiful silver hue dancing across the surface of the water. There's an indolent breeze sweeping across the lands tonight. It kisses my skin with an ever lightly touch, and a shiver wracks through me.
