Meeting The Alpha King's Family
Erica's POV

The sudden and painful sting on my cheek caught my attention making me snap out of my daydream. I quickly turned my head instinctively bringing my hand up to touch the sore spot on my skin prepared to confront whoever had just hurt me.
My eyes grew wide with surprise when I saw an elderly woman standing in front of me. Her expression was filled with rage and her face was covered with deep wrinkles telling the story of a long life filled with both time and frustration.
Her hair was pulled tightly back into a strict bun and even though her eyes were somewhat clouded by her old age they shone with a fierce intensity that made me feel like I wanted to back away and hide.
“What do you think you are doing here?” she said with a
