Mia hid the box in the closet it was something she could not open in front of Logan especially if it's from who she thinks it's from, I guess she needed a reality check and hard reminder that it's time to get back on the task at hand and not playing happy families with a mafia lord and his goons. Logan later came to bed and Mia pretended to be asleep, having that gift delivered really poured cold water over her new found happiness because It was a cold reminder of why she married Logan in the first place and she just could not contemplate sleeping with him again. Logan tried to kiss Mia to wake her up so they could make love but she really pretended to be in a deep slumber and finally Logan gave up kissed her on her cheeck and turned the lamp off to go to sleep. Mia spent most of the night awake she just couldn't fall sleep without knowing what was in the box so she made sure Logan was asleep before she hopped out of bed and went to her walk in closet and opened and closed the door quietly, she then made a beeline for the box she had hidden in there sat down on the stool and looked at it a while before opening. She was really dreading this moment, hell she dreaded everything that's happened since her father passed but she also knew that if she didn't stop Logan and his father no one would especially Hunter, the man was rotten to the core. Mia opened the box happy to find a pair of nice heels and a USB flash drive and she knew what this meant, it meant Sienna finally found their weakest link. She finally found the person they can exploit to get all the evidence they need to bring them to justice, although she knew for Sienna this was revenge for what Logan did to her and her sister. What Mia couldn't figure out is how Logan never knew that his supposed wife Emily had a twin sister and that the girl he got killed all those years ago was her. Mia took the flash drive and hid it in one of her running shoes, quietly got out of the closet and snuck back into bed without being seen or heard and then she fell into a deep slumber.

In the morning when Emily got up Logan had already left for the office but she couldn't figure out why, he was never one to leave without saying goodbye unless something was wrong. She decided to check the flash drive and it was still were she found it but the box she received yesterday was sitting open "oh thank god I moved the flash drive last night" she said to herself sighing in relief, she then hopped into the shower and got dressed went downstairs and called her husband. Logan picked up the phone on the second ring "goodmorning beautiful" Logan said when he answered the phone, "well Goodmorning to you too, you're in a good mood what's going on?" Miah said. "Do I need a reason to be happy? I mean I married a woman I've wanted all my life, just came back from my honeymoon and this morning I got to wake up next to the most gorgeous woman in the world I think that's reason enough to be happy, don't you?", Mia thought for a second before answering "yeah of course it is, I was actually wondering when you left because you weren't here when I woke up", "sorry about that I had an early meeting, just wrapping up some things I left unattended during our honeymoon but need to be settled so we can talk about the future and little baby Rexford's running around". "Babe I've got another call I gotta go, I'll see you later bye" Mia rushed off the phone, the idea of having kids with Logan making her wanna throw up she ran to bathroom and she lost all of yesterday's dinner. When she came out she was feeling much better but still couldn't imagine having kids with Logan right now but the sad part was if Logan had not done the things he had she would definitely want kids with him but unfortunately not everyone gets a happy ending not in this case at least.

Logan just got off the phone with Mia and greeted the guest that he had been waiting for, Logan had decided to hire outside help to keep track of his ex-wife Emily and he could not trust his own people to do it because the woman would end up dead again and he had no idea what she had on them or if she was working alone. "Good morning Trevor, thank you for meeting me all the way out here but I'm sure you understand the sensitivity of this assignment", Trevor Stone is a dirty journalist that he had used a few times to either kill stories or get certain fake news out there in order to manipulate the share price on certain companies. "It's fine, with what you're paying me I'd meet you in Florida if that's what you wanted", "I'm glad to hear that, so what do you have for me?". Trevor sighed and looked at Logan for second and Logan knew that look all too well, "well I have good news and bad news, good news is I found where she is staying and I'm positive that's were she's been since she got to New York" Trevor said to Logan. "Ok and the bad news, judging by the look on your face it's something big" Logan sat back in the chair and waited for Trevor to speak. "Ok you're not gonna like this and I mean you're really gonna wanna blow after what I tell you but you can't, you have to play this smart because if this is what I think it is then you are f****d", Logan was losing his patience "Just spit it out trevor", "ok but like I said..." trevor didn't get to finish his sentence coz Logan gave him a death stare "Fine the condo she is staying in, the reason you were never able to find any trace of new apartments or hotel reservations that didn't check out is because she has been staying at someone we would never think to look at's place" Trevor said to Logan, "who?", Trevor replied "Your wife". Logan felt like his world was spinning out of control, he loosened his tie and drank some water "what else did you find?". "Emily was at your wedding and your wife knew because they met in your suite, one of the cameras caught her leaving. Uhm... she also sent a package to your address a few days after you left for your honeymoon, I don't know if you saw it. Logan was thinking about the box he found on the table when they got back last night, but there were only shoes in there and the box looked unopened but he couldn't be sure of anything anymore after what he just found out. What Logan could not figure out is how Mia fits into Emily's plan, are they working together? But if so why would Mia marry him and he knows she loves him, she always has and you can't fake that kind of love. Is Emily manipulating her? Mia is not gullible, she would never let herself be used. But if not the latter then what?? Because he knew there was no way Mia would be working against him, she is not that kind of girl definitely not one to get mixed up in this kinds of things. But Logan started thinking what exactly does he know about Mia? Other than the background check into what she's been up to the past couple of years, he knows nothing about her. He knows the Mia that was friends with his younger sister Macy, the Mia that used to follow him around because she wanted his attention but that's not the same person she is now. There are holes in Mia's life in the past 5 years that no one can seem to figure out, it's like every few months or so she went off the grid for exactly 72 hours always never a second early or late. That made him question who is Mia really? Who the hell did he marry?
