Episode 2 Logan

"Mr Rexford, have you seen the news today? Mr Drake, CEO of Lexignton Software Solutions died this morning in a car accident driving from New York to Boston, it's all over the news and internet" Logan's assistant No.3 Amber let's him know. Logan still in shock but not for long as the wheels in his head start turning and he starts looking at this an opportunity to get ahead, the opportunity to get the one thing Lex has denied him for years the opportunity to buy his software company. Logan has been looking to expand intact he started thinking about it before he became CEO of Rexford Industries,  before his father had his second stroke he was already planning ahead. With software companies going big and Lex's company being one of the most leading software companies in the east coast Logan wanted to buy it from him and take it global, however Lex was not interested in selling he felt he was still young and had a couple of years in him before considering retirement.

Cooking up schemes and taking things that don't belong to him has always been Logan's style, and the more you tell him he cant have it it's the more he wants it, and this was no different. "Amber please cancel all my appointments for the entire week and call my pilot tell him to get the plane ready we're going to Tokyo. Logan figured if he can get to the one person who owns almost half of the Lexington Software Solutions as of 2 years ago maybe he can have help and a little backup when he approaches the Drakes to seel him the remaining 62% of the company, after all non of them have any experience running a company or even any interest for that matter. Last he heard Mia Drake was living in London running some magazine or something like that, she has no interest running the family business she made that clear a long time ago. 

After putting on his suit jacket Logan texts his driver to bring the car around as he walks down the hall towards the elevator, the elevator door opens and his next appointment steps out. "Mr Rexford I was just on my way to see you when I received a message you will not be able to meet with me", says I'm Han. "I'm really sorry mr Han but my father's old friend and former business partner Lexington Drake died in a tragic car accident this morning and I need to go be with the family I'm sure you can understand, my CFO Alayna Sallis will ofcourse meet with you to discuss a way forward for this merger" Logan steps into the elevator and bids mr Hans adew. While in the elevator Logan figures manipulation will be the best ploy to get the Drake's to sell their company to him, if he goes directly and makes a bid Grace Eleanor Drake will never go for it the woman has never liked him. "So I guess I will have to use this time to get into Grace's good books and use Mia's lack on interest in the company as a way to get her to agree to sell" Logan says to himself. He steps off the elevator and walks out of the building and stands there looking at all he has accomplished in the last 5 years, and thinks about all he can accomplish if he gets his hands on that company, Logan may be a lot of unsavory things but he is a damn good businessman and he runs his company with an iron fist and as long as you follow 3 simple rules you and him will get along . Rule 1: Never mess with his livelihood or money, Rule 2: never mess with his cars and Rule 3: Never ever dip you pen in company ink, or atleast be smart enough not to get caught coz 3 strikes and you're out.
