Chapter Fifteen: The Plan
Maggie’s POV
As I watched Gemma walking off with the alphas, I turned to John.
“It’s our time. We need to go to the Dead Man’s Cave. I also brought a scent potion so no one can smell us or know we’re there. And I need to get close enough to Lewis to find out why he’s back.”
John nodded, and together we headed deeper into the forest. The cave was hidden far beneath thick trees and rock, buried so well that most wolves didn’t even know it existed.
As we got closer, I heard voices.
I quickly stopped and hid behind a tree, John moving silently behind me. I couldn’t fully see the people speaking through the darkness, but one thing was certain — one of them was Lewis.
