I couldn’t believe Richard had escaped.
The second Logan mind-linked Jayden to tell him the cabin was empty, my heart sank straight into my stomach. Richard had promised me he would get free one day, but I never thought it would happen this soon. The chains had been spelt. The cabin had been protected. I had sealed every entrance with blood magic.
