Alpha Jayden’s POV The funeral for Gemma’s mum was beautiful. Painful… but beautiful. The sky above us was dark and cloudy, matching the heavy feeling sitting inside my chest. Warriors stood in silence around the burial grounds while candles flickered in the cold breeze. White roses covered the coffin, and Alpha Mason stood beside it looking completely broken, even though he tried hard not to show it. After all these years of believing his mate was dead, he had finally been able to bury her properly. He deserved that closure. “She would’ve loved this,” Alpha Jason said quietly beside me.
