When we got back to Maggie, I didn't forget Gemma's statement to Sean: "WE WILL GET REVENGE" were her words. I couldn't even stop her after all; Maggie, Emily, my mum, and dad were dead, so I knew what they were going through.
Gemma thinks if she hadn't left the war, Emily would still be alive. She's also blaming herself for letting Maggie do the spell with her. But as I know, Maggie would have never let Gemma do the spell alone. As strong as Gemma is, the spell would have killed her if she had done it alone, and Maggie wasn't having that. Maggie loved Gemma as her child, and they were the only family Gemma had.
